Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term, solution-focused approach that can produce fast improvement in symptoms and provide you with a clear explanation of your emotional difficulties. We will focus on the present, while helping you to understand how the past may still be influencing your thoughts, behaviors, and feelings today. Changing faulty and self defeating thinking can lead to change in feeling and in behavior. We will work on a variety of methods to help reformulate unhelpful beliefs into more sensible, realistic and helpful ones.
My goal of using this approach is to increase effectiveness and satisfaction within all areas of your life.
