My goal is to provide you with expert care in a supportive and comfortable setting using cognitive behavior therapy, a solution-focused, action-oriented form of psychotherapy. Cognitive behavior therapy is based on the idea that feelings and behaviors are caused by your thoughts, rather than external events, people or situations. Although you might not feel that you are able to change the circumstances of your life, you do have control and the ability to change how you think about your life and therefore the ability to change how you feel and behave.

We will work on going beyond symptom relief and focus on long-term improvement, by teaching you to identify, challenge, and substitute your self-defeating thoughts and beliefs with healthier thoughts that promote emotional well-being, goal achievement and increased life-satisfaction and productivity.

You don’t have to be diagnosed with a mental health problem to benefit from psychotherapy – we will work together to help address everyday concerns ranging from job stress, to anxiety about weight, relationships, self-doubt, and so on. Therapy can offer a safe and therapeutic environment to find perspective, reveal options, explore relationships and solve problems.
